Jeremiah Village is a new and welcoming community featuring a variety of housing options in the charming Zelienople, PA. Our apartment and cottage community is designed as a small Village within walking distance to downtown Zelionople. Our neighbors, Glade Run Lutheran Services have a Sensory Playground and Park on their campus and within walking distance for residents to enjoy. With construction finishing in late 2021, the apartment building and individual cottages will feature modern appliances, open concept living spaces and a wide front porch that faces green, shared lawns and walking paths. Inside the apartment building, a large community room with a kitchen, a conference/computer room on the ground floor and a washer/drying space on each floor.
The town of Zelienople was settled in 1802 by the German baron Dettmar Basse and named the land after his daughter Zelie. From then on, the town expanded and began filling with shops, hotels and local watering holes. Zelienople grew to be a popular transportation hub from those traveling from Pittsburgh to Erie via Route 19, which runs directly through the main street. The town’s motto, “a modern place with old fashioned grace” is reflected by newer restaurants lining the main street next to beautifully maintained Victorian style houses. The restored Strand Theater, with the original Marquee sign, provides a space for both live theater and screened movies. The Zelienople neighborhood finds space to connect through their Community park, with a pool, a baseball field, and an amphitheater. Annual festivities throughout the town include the Fourth of July Parade (fireworks at night), Horse Trading Days and a Fall Festival.
